Cobb schools to close Monday due to freezing rain forecast

The Cobb County School District will be closed Monday due to the forecast of freezing rain.

The district announced via Twitter on Sunday evening that the weather could affect roads and travel, and warned students and staff to stay home.

All Cobb County schools are closed Monday, January 8, for both students and staff, due to the forecast of freezing rain and the impact on roads and travel.
