Two people were shot after leaving a graduation party in Clayton County early Saturday morning, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police told Channel 2 that two males were shot on Webb Road near I-85 in Riverdale.

The two victims stopped at the nearby Sutter Lake apartments after a large graduation party nearby wound down, police said.

“They encountered some females and began a conversation according to witnesses’ account,” Clayton County police Officer Clarence Cox told Channel 2. During that conversation, he said, the driver noticed a male brandishing a weapon approaching the vehicle.

“The subject approached the vehicle and fired shots into the vehicle, wounding two passengers of the vehicle,” Cox said.

Police said the driver and the front-seat passenger were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. No names were released.

No arrests have been made, Channel 2 reported.
