Sandy Springs plans park info session

The city of Sandy Springs will hold a meeting to talk about future plans for the south side of its Abernathy Greenway Linear Park.

The public information session is set for 6 p.m. Nov. 19 in the council chambers at City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, building 500.

Sandy Springs Park and Recreation staff members will present information on the status and proposed schedule for the design of the park, and will give the public a chance to weigh in.

The park officially opened this summer along Abernathy Road between Brandon Mill and Wright roads.
