Roswell woman, 13-year-old daughter found safe
The Roswell mother and her 13-year-old daughter reported missing early Thursday were found safe late Thursday afternoon, according to police.
Both state and local investigators were searching for Michelle Davila and her daughter, Alice Marie Davila, at the time the two were located. The two were found in the Atlanta area, but no further details were released.
Davila’s 17-year-old son called police around 3 a.m. Thursday to report the two had not returned home from a Wednesday afternoon trip to Walmart, according to Officer Lisa Holland with Roswell police. When police arrived at the home, Davila’s husband, Pedro, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from 2012, Holland said.
Police earlier Thursday said there were “suspicious circumstances” regarding the pair’s disappearance, but did not elaborate.
