Six rabbits were rescued from a house in Decatur on Monday morning after a fire broke out in an upstairs bedroom, officials said.

The fire in the 2700 block of Williamsburg Way in DeKalb County displaced two adults and two children, DeKalb County Fire Battalion Chief Daniel Long said. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters brought the rabbits out in cages; Long said they were not injured and CPR did not need to be administered. A cat and two dogs were also rescued from the blaze.

Smoke was visible when crews arrived, but they quickly put out the fire, Long said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
