Pre-k application packages available

New and returning Georgia pre-kindergarten providers can obtain application packages for the 2014-2015 school year at the web site of Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL), www.decal.com. Existing providers of currently funded classes can request expansion classes while new providers can receive important information about the application review, award process, and grant funding. The deadline for all applications is 5 p.m. April 23. Georgia pre-k is funded with proceeds of lottery ticket sales. Currently, there ae 1,819 pre-k sites, statewide.
