Police: 2 shot during Christmas parade in North Carolina

Police have one person in custody after a shooting Monday during a Christmas parade.

Gunfire cut short the parade in Sanford, North Carolina, just before 8 p.m.

Witnesses said they heard between four and seven gunshots and everyone scattered away.

Police said two people were shot.

One person is in serious condition. The other victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
