The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the man accused of exposing himself in the library.

The man allegedly exposed himself Thursday to a group of teenagers studying at the Fayette County library, Sheriff Barry Babb said Friday. The girls reported the man to library employees, who then confronted the man, Babb said in an emailed statement.

“The male told staff his name was Cecil Smith as he was walking out of the library,” Babb said.

The man was last seen driving out of the library parking lot in a dark colored, four-door sedan with dark tinted windows, according to police. He was wearing a black baseball cap, dark polo shirt, and dark pants with a lanyard hanging out of the right pocket, witnesses said.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at 770-716-4752.
