A game of billiards turned deadly Tuesday night as an Ohio man died after apparently being hit by a baseball bat after getting into a fight with his nephew, police said.
Dino Goodrich, 59, was found unresponsive on the garage floor of a residence in Gahanna, WCMH reported. Goodrich was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries, the television station reported.
Police said Goodrich had been in a prolonged argument during a game of pool with his nephew, 34-year-old Cameron Goodrich, WNBS reported.
According to police, the fight escalated until Cameron Goodrich went inside the house and returned with a bat and struck his uncle, the television station reported.
Police said Cameron Goodrich was detained. Pending results from the Franklin County Coroner, Cameron Goodrich will be charged with murder, WCMH reported.
