A mother has been arrested for leaving her four children in the car while she shopped for groceries.
Charnae Mosley faces four counts of reckless conduct after her children, ages 6, 4, 2 and 1, were seen locked in her SUV in the parking lot of a Kroger on Headland Drive, Atlanta police said.
A 911 call came in around 3 p.m. about children locked in a car, authorities said. When officers arrived, they found four unattended children locked in the SUV, police spokesman Sgt. Greg Lyon said. The SUV’s doors were locked and the windows were up.
The children were released to their grandmother, and Mosley is expected to be booked into the Fulton County jail shortly, Lyon said.
