According to court records, Ferdinand Velez Latorre, 37, of Port St. Lucie was arrested March 20 and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The incident occurred March 11, police said. A man identified as a victim told Port St. Lucie police that Latorre got into an argument with a second man about a squeegee, TC.Palm.com reported.

The man said Latorre cut the second’s man’s arm with a razor blade, the website reported, citing an arrest report. Latorre then grabbed a machete and chased the second man, who jumped onto a pickup truck.

“I’ll kill you, I’ll kill everybody!” Latorre allegedly said, according to the arrest report.

Police were unable to find Latorre for several days until he surrendered to authorities March 20 at the St. Lucie County Jail, TCPalm.com reported.
