4 young children in Detroit found in home near body of mother

Police found four young children inside a Detroit home on Thursday near the body of their mother, who had been stabbed to death, WDIV reported.

The woman was identified as 23-year-old Ladiamond Meyers, WJBK reported.

The children’s ages ranged from 8 months to 5 years old, police said.

The woman was found nude and had multiple stab wounds, police said. Authorities said they also discovered drug paraphernalia throughout the house.
Neighbors said the woman was in her mid-20s and had moved into the home about a month ago, WDIV reported.
