A woman who was being booked into a Florida jail last weekend allegedly tried to chew on a bag of methamphetamine that she had removed from her buttocks, police said.

Collier County sheriff's deputies arrested Summer Adamson, 30, after she was accused of breaking a car window in Naples.  After pulling her over, deputies said they discovered a syringe and heroin next to her in the vehicle she was driving, Rare reported.

As Adamson was being booked at the Collier County jail, deputies searched her and said she grabbed a bag of meth that had been in her buttocks, put it in her mouth and started chewing on it. WBBH reported.

Adamson faces several charges, including drug possession, smuggling contraband into jail and tampering with evidence. She remains in jail on $22,000 bond, arrest records show.
