A motorist was killed Sunday morning after a head-on collision with a MARTA bus in College Park.

The collision occurred around 8:30 a.m., according to MARTA spokesman Lyle Harris. He said the MARTA bus was traveling southbound on Roosevelt Highway near Global Gateway Connector when it was struck head-on by a car travelling northbound. Harris said the Fulton County Medical Examiner pronounced the motorist dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet identified the man who died.

Harris said the bus driver was taken to Grady Medical Center, and three bus passengers were taken to Atlanta Medical Center. All four had non-life threatening injuries, Harris said.
