Missing Henry County girls found safe

Two young girls who went missing Thursday afternoon while playing outside were found hours later, Henry County police said.

The girls were playing in the the Ashley Trace subdivision in Locust Grove when they were reported missing shortly before 3 p.m., according to Sgt. Joey Smith with Henry police. The two were located in nearby woods shortly before 7 p.m.
