Mangano, 62, who has written a book and was portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence in a 2015 movie, will "pursue other professional opportunities," the Tampa Bay Times reported, citing an HSN news release.

Mangano began her career on HSN's rival network, QVC, and then sold her company -- Ingenious Designs -- to HSN in 1999, the newspaper reported. She stayed with the company over the next two decades and was dubbed the "Queen of HSN." the Times reported.

“We and our customers are enormously grateful for all that Joy has done for our shopping community,” HSN President Mike Fitzharris said in a statement. “She has been an important part of the family for many years, and her creativity has influenced us all. We thank her for her contributions.”

The Miracle Mop, a self-wringing invention, put Mangano into the limelight. Her hanger sales totaled more than 800 million units, the Times reported.

Mangano, on her website, sells travel, home and cleaning items.

HSN will continue to sell Huggable Hangers, My Little Steamer and other products Mangano has presented for HSN, Fitzharris said.

Mangano could not be reached for comment, the Times reported.
