The Coast Guard in Honolulu is investigating reports that two military aircraft crashed Thursday night off Oahu's North Shore.
Coast Guard officials told CBS News that a debris field, including an empty life raft and a fire, were found more than 2 miles from Haleiwa.
The helicopters were from the Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay. Both had crews of six, CBS News reported.
