A wanted man who federal authorities said was part of a group that robbed a cash transport truck in South Carolina is now believed to be in the metro Atlanta area.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of 20-year-old Quantavius Deshawn Murphy, who is wanted on federal larceny and conspiracy charges.

Murphy, a Georgia native, is accused of being a member of a crew who emptied an armored truck as it was trying to make a delivery to an ATM in North Charleston, South Carolina, in January.

According to investigators, Murphy and a group robbed the Garda Truck as it was outside of a Bank of America on Jan. 16. The FBI said Murphy has a “large portion of the profits of the robbery.”

He is described as about 6-foot tall and 165 pounds. Investigators said he should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Murphy’s whereabouts is asked to contact the FBI’s field office in Columbia, South Carolina, at 803-551-4200.
