A 35-year-old man was arrested after allegedly getting high on methamphetamine and driving to prison on Saturday.

Deputies with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint at the front gate of the Ouachita Correctional Center (OCC) in Monroe, Lousiana.

Upon arrival, they were directed towards a car in the parking lot. According to KTVE/KARD, Bobby Koch got out of the car and said “God told me to come here.”

When asked if he was high, Koch answered yes, stating that he got high on methamphetamine before God told him to go and get his family out of OCC.

Officers found a backpack with a suspected bag of meth, which Koch claimed to own.

Koch was then escorted inside OCC and booked on one count of Possession of a CDS-II, reported by KTVE/KARD.
