Year Up Atlanta to Hold second annual Opportunity Ball Oct. 20

Year Up Atlanta will host its second annual Opportunity Ball from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the World of Coca-Cola. Year Up Atlanta is a one-year intensive training program that provides low-income young adults in the Atlanta area with a combination of hands-on skill development, college credits, and corporate internships. The non-profit organization formally launched in Atlanta in 2008. This year’s fundraiser will celebrate the successes of Year Up Atlanta alumni and students. Individual tickets are $250 and can be purchased at www.yearup.org.
