Work to close lanes on Ga. 316 Saturday
Construction will lead to lane closures on Ga. 316 from I-85 to Sugarloaf Parkway on Saturday.
Beginning at 8 a.m. crews will close the right eastbound lane of the highway to install new guardrails. The lane should reopen around noon, when work will shift to the westbound side of the highway. The right westbound lane will be closed from noon to about 3:30 p.m.
The Georgia Department of Transportation advises drivers to expect delays that will likely affect I-85 northbound traffic.
