The city of Woodstock and American Legion South Cherokee Post 316 again are accepting applications for the city’s Military Banner Program, which recognizes the service of friends and loved ones.

The banners are displayed on light poles, put up one week before Memorial Day and taken down one week afterward, and displayed again for Veterans Day. A $150 fee includes one 18-by-55-inch, double-sided, full-color vinyl banner with the service person’s photograph.

Net proceeds of the sales go toward Post 316. Post contact persons are Irma Martin, 678-662-2366 or immpjrm@gmail.com, and Julian Windham, 706-726-2754. For information and an enrollment form: https://bit.ly/2EkWdJ8.
