A water main break Monday on East Cherokee Drive near Tripp Road in Woodstock caused a 60-foot spew of water into the air and road closures nearby. East Cherokee remains closed between Tripp and East Holly Springs Road.

Three fire trucks were dispatched and Cobb EMC as well as Cherokee Water and Sewage were en route to repair the break at 6 p.m.
