Rome City Schools officials aren’t releasing information about a fight between two middle school students caught on video.

But a teacher was clearly caught in the middle of a brawl at Rome Middle School, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Rome is about 80 miles northwest of Atlanta.

Cellphone video shows the students slapping and punching at each other, but when asked for comment, officials would only confirm an investigation has been opened, the news station reported.

Neither the date of the incident nor the name of the teacher involved was released.
