The shooting of a 39-year-old Atlanta man was captured on surveillance video outside an Atlanta strip mall, police said.

Kenard Barnette got into an argument in November with the driver of a car parked outside a strip mall in the 1900 block of Metropolitan Parkway, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

When police arrived, Barnette had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Barnette can be seen in the video getting out of a dark sedan that police believe might have been a Chevrolet or Genesis, Atlanta police spokeswoman Lisa Bender said.

A witness runs from the area just before the driver begins shooting.

“The suspect shot the victim and shot at another male (seen running away), then drove off at a high rate of speed,” Bender said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Information can be submitted anonymously to the tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or online  at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.
