Saturday may have been cloudy and gloomy with spotty showers that stuck around all day, but Sunday should be much nicer.
The clouds part, the rain subsides and sunshine returns for the second half of the weekend, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Eboni Deon said.
“Drier air will move in behind the passing cold front (and) Sunday afternoon will be dry and partly cloudy,” she said.
Right now, it is 69 degrees in Atlanta with scattered clouds.
As the clouds break and the sun returns, temperatures in Atlanta are expected to reach the low 70s.
“It looks like Sunday afternoon is going to be your day, especially if you’re looking for better conditions and brighter skies,” she said.
The nicer whether should stick around until mid-week, when another front moves in just in time for a soggy Wednesday and Thursday.
