Gwinnett County's Beat the HEAT vehicles -- a Chevrolet Impala and a Suzuki GSX-R Dragbike -- will be on display at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Gold's Gym at 860 Duluth Highway in Lawrenceville as part of an effort to educate the community about the dangers of street racing.

The program is part of a national effort organized by police, sheriffs, and fire departments who use police-themed drag racing vehicles as a tool to warn young drivers about illegal street racing, drug and alcohol abuse, and distracted driving.
