Who rules the world?
The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation wants to help metro Atlanta teenage girls learn that they can rule the world and their own lives.
Applications are still being accepted for the second annual "Girls Who Rule the World Mentoring Weekend", which will be held Oct. 28-Oct. 30 in Stone Mountain. The deadline is Monday.
Potential participants can register online at www.girlswhoruletheworld.org. One hundred teens will be accepted into the program.
The weekend will include a day of inspiration, reflection and more.
A mid-year recap will be held be held Sunday, bringing back 60 of the teens who participated last year. Speakers include Susan L. Taylor, National CARES Mentoring Movement; and Vicki Palmer, of the Palmer Group.
