The city of Kennesaw will open up more areas where children can play at two of its parks.

The playgrounds at Swift-Cantrell and Adams parks will reopen Wednesday, June 3 to the public. Kennesaw will also allow the exercise equipment at Swift-Cantrell Park to be used.

Kennesaw on Monday also reopened the pavilions at Adams Park and the skatepark, dog park, pavilions and restrooms at Swift-Cantrell Park.

Kennesaw asks that anyone exhibiting symptoms such as fever of over 100.4 degrees, cough or shortness of breath or who has been exposed to people with these symptoms to stay home. Residents are also asked to continue following social distancing guidelines outlined by Gov. Brian Kemp.
