Parks in Peachtree City reopened to the public for individuals’ use on May 1 following the expiration of the state’s shelter-in-place executive order. This includes the Peachtree City Athletic Complex, Drake Field, Meade Field, Riley Field, and the Braelinn and Glenloch recreation complexes.

The Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center will reopen on May 18 but pools will stay closed for now. The city says social distancing is still important, and will limit large group use in those areas. Continued social distancing is encouraged at private recreational facilities as well. City government offices will be open to the public on May 18 with social distancing limitations, including how many people can be inside at the same time. All previously scheduled camps, tournaments, try-outs, assessments, swim meets and other activities will likely be postponed until later in the summer.

Updates and details are posted at www.peachtree-city.org.
