Park group seeking award nominations
A local group that pushes for the growth of parks and greenspace in the Atlanta region is looking for a few good park lovers.
Park Pride is seeking nominations of people or organizations who take care of parks or the development of parkland for its 2010 Inspiration Awards. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 12. The work must be done in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton or Gwinnett counties or one of its cities.
The nomination form is available at www.parkpride.org.
The awards will be given on March 22 at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
