The new traffic signal at Rogers Bridge Road and Main Street in Duluth began operation on Thursday, April 16. The $300,000 SPLOST-funded project is a joint effort between the city and Gwinnett Department of Transportation. The city is responsible for 19 percent of the project costs, or $57,000.

A second new traffic signal at Ga. 120 (Abbotts Bridge Road) and George Rogers Avenue will go into operation on Tuesday, April 21. Total cost of this SPLOST-funded project is $352,000.

Per the city’s intergovernmental agreement with Gwinnett, the city is responsible for 19 percent of the project’s cost, or $66,880.
