A new traffic signal is now functional at Johns Creek Parkway and Technology Circle in Johns Creek.

The signal was installed to improve operations and safety, city officials said. Johns Creek Parkway, which runs inside the city’s Technology Park, carries an average of 6,700 vehicles a day.

The city recently installed a mast-arm signal to replace signal wire cables at State Bridge Road and Parkway Baptist Church east of Medlock Bridge Road. That was part of the city’s effort to replace old signals that have reached their functioning capacity, officials said.

Johns Creek installed a new mast arm at Old Alabama and Brumbelow roads earlier this year, and is working on installing two, additional, mast arm signals along Old Alabama Road.
