Scary isn’t just for Halloween, at least at Netherworld.
The massive haunted house complex is hosting a one-night-only event, mixing their Night of the Gorgon attraction with the trappings of Christmas. There will be “seasonally inspired monsters” ready to scare guests’ jingle bells off on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Only six people at a time will be allowed in the attraction, according to Netherworld. They will first be guided on a rope by a “ghostly spirit,” but, at some point, the guide will disappear, leaving guests to make it out on their own.
“This carefully paced event is a great way to experience the house without the larger crowds you might encounter during October,” Netherworld said in a press release.
After getting thoroughly spooked, guests can enjoy Netherworld’s carnival-style midway, all decked out for the holidays. There’s also a gift shop and a special laser tag event for the night called “Mutant Madness.”
Tickets for "A Haunted Holiday" are $25.95 on Netherworld's website and $28 at the door, but Netherworld encourages guests to purchase online to avoid the risk of showing up to a sold-out event. A package of six tickets can be purchased online for $125.95. Tickets to the "Mutant Madness" laser tag event are $15 each and only available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Netherworld gift shop.
Netherworld is located at 2076 W. Park Place Blvd. in Stone Mountain.
