A well-known chain pizza restaurant located near a busy DeKalb County intersection failed its most recent health inspection, as a report noted that its only toilet was not working.

The Marco’s Pizza on Briarcliff Road, near the intersection with Lavista Road, scored a 55 on its inspection last Monday, according a report completed by the DeKalb County Board of Health.

According to the report, the only toilet in the restaurant was unable to flush, and there was a lot of “food residue and debris” on trays used to hold pizza pans.

The general manager of the location said that due to company policy, he was not able to comment on the inspection score.

Last year, the pizza joint scored a 90.
