The Lawrenceville City Council recently approved an annual contract to provides uniforms and uniform related equipment for Police Department officers on an as needed basis.

This contract includes everything from t-shirts, pants, jackets and rain gear to ties, boots, belts and tactile response uniforms. Additional equipment covered by this contract includes flashlights, handcuffs and handcuff cases, radio holders, holsters, radio holders, tourniquets and safety wands.

The $75,204 contract is funded by the Uniforms Fund and the Small Furniture and Equipment Fund. This is the first of four renewal options.
