David Rotenstein, a resident with a doctorate in folklore who has worked in historic preservation for decades, will present a lecture Tuesday on DeKalb County’s Jewish communities.

Rotenstein will explain how Jewish leaders developed at least three enclosed communities in the county called eruvs. The presentation is part of the DeKalb History Center’s Lunch and Learn series.

The free event begins at noon at Tuesday at the Old Courthouse on the Square in Decatur.
