Henry County facilities opening back up
Some Henry County employees are back in the office this week.
Henry County government employees began returning to their offices and facilities May 4 in staggered shits after the state’s shelter-in-place order was lifted.
Workers in some departments will be reporting to their regular stations on an odd-even day schedule, while others will be at work every day with staggered arrival departure times. Buildings remain closed to the public, but staff will be able to conduct some day-to-day operations.
Multiple buildings are being modified to incorporate Plexiglas barriers and signage to ensure social distancing between staff and local residents once the buildings reopen to the public.
