Hall County police have arrested 22-year-old Andrew Mosley on 14 charges of theft by taking.
Mosley is suspected of scamming multiple Gwinnett County residents, including people in their 70s and 80s, with a fake tree-cutting and removal service. Mosley would take payment for services and abscond with the money before completing the job, police say.
Mosley is being held in the Gwinnett County Detention Center. Bond details were not immediately posted online by the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office.
