A Gwinnett County sushi restaurant failed its recent health inspection, with officials reporting undercooked and improperly stored foods.

The menus at Suki Japanese Restaurant — located at 150 U.S. 78 in Loganville — also did not have the required consumer advisories on them, officials said. The eatery scored a 65/U on its Sunday afternoon inspection.

According to the inspector's report, a tray of raw chicken was stored above raw beef in the restaurant's freezer, and beef was also stored above raw squid.

A cooler was "in disrepair" and not holding other foods at their proper temperatures, the report said.

The restaurant was also cited for not having statements warning customers about raw or undercooked foods on its lunch or dinner menus.

A person who answered the phone at Suki on Tuesday said management was not available for comment. A follow-up inspection will be completed within 10 days of Sunday's failing inspection.
