Morgan Tumlin played the saxophone, and she wanted to play the flute. She loved cooking with her mom and, like any 14-year-old girl, enjoyed Disney movies and candy.

She'll be laid to rest Wednesday, six days after a car crash near Lake Lanier took her life.

"Morgan was so sweet, caring, smart and beautiful," a family friend wrote on an online fundraising page.

Morgan, a Buford resident, was riding with her sister and two other people Thursday evening when their Toyota Camry overturned near Lower Pool Park in Forsyth County. Morgan was ejected and later died at Northside Hospital-Forsyth.

She is survived by her parents, grandparents, two sisters and two stepsisters.

According to her online obituary, visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 S. Lee St. in Buford. A funeral will be held at the same location at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses can be sent to David Brewer, 70 West Park St., Buford, Ga., 30518. Donations can also be made to a GoFundMe page set up to help the family.

As of Tuesday afternoon, that page had raised nearly $5,000.
