ORIGINAL STORY: A recently opened Gwinnett barbecue restaurant failed its recent health inspection, with officials noting flies in the kitchen, several improperly stored foods and rust in a cooler.
Bump's BBQ, located at 5394 Five Forks-Trickum Road in Lilburn, received a 67/U after the Monday inspection.
According to the inspector's report, there were "multiple flies in the kitchen area" and multiple foods — including coleslaw, cheese, hot dogs and chicken wings — being stored above the appropriate temperature. "Unwashed peppers and raw shelled eggs" were stored over ready-to-eat foods.

A follow-up inspection will be completed within 10 days of Monday's failing evaluation.
