The Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta was reopened Tuesday afternoon after a suspicious package was discovered earlier, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The building at Peachtree and 10th streets had been evacuated, Atlanta fire officials said, and traffic was shut down.

The contents of the package are being investigated, Channel 2 reported. No other details were released.
