The city of Fayetteville is holding another open house to discuss its Master Path Plan from 6 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 31 at City Hall, 240 S. Glynn Street.

Residents are invited to hear and comment on the most recent updates for the project, which has been in development since last year with the intent of providing more connectivity for pedestrians, cyclists and golf carts. The city specifically wants to improve access between the historic downtown and the Fayette Pavilion, as well as Togwatee Village, Piedmont Fayette Hospital and Pinewood Forest. The plan includes installation of both sidewalks and multi-use paths. Plans for a redeveloped downtown area are already underway, with a new city hall and park space being constructed this year.
