Thomas Regout Inc., a Dutch manufacturer of height-adjustable mounting systems for interactive flat panels in schools, has chosen Woodstock as its first U.S. location, the Georgia Department of Economic Development announced.

The $2 million assembly, sales and distribution center, for products marketed under the brand names BalanceBox and e-Box, will employ 25, officials said.

Regout Group is based in Maastricht, The Netherlands. The company cited as reasons for choosing Cherokee County its proximity to several big players who are its customers in the professional audio-visual industry, the availability of qualified staff, support of local authorities and Atlanta being a hub for national and international travel.

"We are pleased to welcome Thomas Regout Inc. to Cherokee County, where many world-renowned companies call home," said Marshall Day, chairman of the Cherokee Office of Economic Development. Information: https://bit.ly/31dhBt2
