David and Danielle Waring lost their lives together. And they'll be remembered that way, too.

The Warings — father and daughter, 45 and 19 years old, respectively — were two of the five people killed last month when a fire ripped through their rental home on Duluth's Post Oak Drive. They'll have a joint celebration of life service at noon Saturday at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. in Peachtree Corners.

In lieu of flowers, friends and loved ones are asked to consider donating to the college fund of Danielle's 2-year-old son, Kris, who lives with his great-grandparents.

"I am also asking that any of Dave's friends and Danielle's friends please share their memories of them with us all on Saturday," one of those great-grandparents, Debbie Oakes, wrote on Facebook.

Gwinnett County fire investigators have not determined the exact cause of the fatal blaze, but they also have not been able to rule out a fire pit on the home's back deck, Capt. Tommy Rutledge reaffirmed Wednesday.

Edward Cameron Brown, 21; Danielle Waring, 19; David Allen Waring, 45; Kelley Tomkinson, 47; and Kimberly Lewis, 45, have been identified as the victims of Sunday’s fatal house fire in Duluth. (Facebook photos)

In addition to the Warings, three others were killed in the fire: 21-year-old Edward "Cameron" Brown, Danielle's boyfriend; 45-year-old Kimberly Lewis, a mother of two; and 47-year-old Kelley Tomkinson, a mother of three.

Brown was laid to rest Oct. 26 and Lewis' funeral was held Oct. 28. It was unclear Wednesday if services had been held or scheduled for Tomkinson.
