The Cumming Recreation and Parks Department has extended its closure of all programs and activities through Sunday, May 24.

"Since this means the cancellation of programs already underway when the suspensions began in March, pro-rated refunds will be issued for classes that were not able to be held," according to a city announcement. The refunds are credits that can be applied toward registration when programs resume.

Those seeking monetary refunds should email crpdinfo@cityofcumming.net and include the name of the child enrolled, name of activity, its meeting date and time, and a current mailing address. It may take three to four weeks to receive a refund, the city said.

Registration for summer camps and classes “will be postponed until a resolution of the current situation is reached,” the city said. FitPasses will be frozen at their current status and reinstated when programs start up again.
