Cops not sure why men killed each other in DeKalb hotel

DeKalb County police say they are still trying to determine why two men apparently shot and killed each other at a hotel Friday.

The department on Wednesday identified the men found at Super Inn off I-20 as Furqaan Woods, 30, and Shaine Roberts, 32. Staff found men, who had rented separate rooms, in one room at the business on Wesley Club Drive in unincorporated Decatur.

Detectives found evidence of “mutual” gunfire. Police have said they weren’t aware of any relationship between the men.
