Police in Dunwoody have identified and arrested a man who allegedly wielded a pink bat and busted the front windows of a Dunwoody home.

Chadwick Hampton Weeks, 24, of Brookhaven was taken into custody Friday and faces a felony charge of second-degree criminal damage to property, Dunwoody police said in a statement.

Police said Weeks is the person spotted on a home surveillance camera smashing the windows out of a home on Wynterhall Lane early Sunday morning.

A 911 caller reported hearing glass breaking, police said. When they responded to the “possible burglary in progress,” they found multiple broken windows on the front of the home.

The motive in the case is still under investigation.

Investigators are also looking for a second perpetrator who was involved, the statement said. Police urged the second person to “turn himself in,” or contact Detective Tim Waldron at 678-382-6911 or Tim.Waldron@dunwoodyga.gov.
