Temperatures are cooling while staying above average Sunday, Channel 2 Action News meteorologists say.
“After highs in the 70s yesterday from Atlanta southward, we'll dial it back into the 60s today with increasing clouds,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said.
Lake Lanier is about full so Sunday would be a good day to take the boat out. But do it sooner rather than later, because clouds and evening showers are expected.
Maybe you're going to take advantage of the spring-like warmth and take the boat out? Lake Lanier just about at full pool -- increasing clouds today with showers possible after dark. @wsbtv pic.twitter.com/RV4OLBrNo8

Currently, the temperature in Atlanta is 63 degrees.
Beginning Monday, temps will return to the 70s and feel a lot like May through the work week, Monahan said.
Rain chances are at 30 percent or below through Friday.
